Sketch have been Kidnapped! Don’t panic – it’s just their tunes ? Iain was delighted to collaborate with the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and National Theatre of Scotland on their production of Robert Louis Stevenson’s ‘Kidnapped’. He adapted music from both ‘Shed Life’ and ‘Highland Time’ as well as writing original material for the show.
It’s was a lively one using aerial performance and dance to create “a joyous, unselfconscious overload of noise and action”… and with great tunes, obviously 😉 Stoked to say the performance got a fantastic 5 star review from The Mumble and ‘the music throughout was superb’ – you can read the full review here. There’s also a wee video about the production below.
When he’s finally got some spare time Iain is also going to be starting a blog about working on the show so watch this space!
